Introducing ECTV-40′s newest acquisition! We finally have a remote bus to use for productions outside of the studio! Today, Andy WIlliams (Director of Broadcasting) and Carrie Chapman (Office Assistant), and I visited Bristol, PA where we picked up the new production bus for ECTV-40. It may not look like much now, but we all have very high hopes for this bus.
The first hurdle has already been jumped, we successfully got the bus back to campus! The next step is to send the bus to Facilities Management who will strip out the seats and prepare it for use as our new “Mobile Teaching and Production Van” (we need a much catchier title for that…). After it is ready, I will begin working to retrofit the bus for its future use! I am hoping to have the entire project completed by March, so that we can get a chance to use it before all the seniors on the board (including myself) graduate.
